On Sunday the 1st of March we held Girls Into Coding #6 at the Microsoft Reactor. This was an exciting time as the previous event was so successful, so I could not wait to experience it all over again.
On November 26th, 2019, I received the Diana Legacy Award from Earl Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana. I was fortunate enough to be selected along with 19 other young people from around the globe to receive this prestigious award.
Girls into Coding #5 (GIC5) was on Saturday the 3rd of November, which surprisingly came around quite quickly, despite the last one being at the end of July.
MozFest 2019 (Mozilla Festival) took place over three days, Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October. It was my second MozFest and I was especially excited because this time I was attending as a facilitator running a workshop session.
On October 4th & 5th, the Microbit Foundation held its first annual conference of the global Microbit community of educators, makers, and partners who came together to share experiences, amazing Microbit projects and the latest teaching, and learning materials.
Saturday the 14th of September, the first CoderDojo of the 2019-2020 season! For this opening session, I decided to run a workshop using Bitbot because it’s got so many cool features you can expand on.
On Sunday the 21st of July, it was time for Girls Into Coding #4! After several days of preparation for this event, I was so excited to be welcomed back to the Microsoft Reactor space. As usual, we delivered three exciting workshops –
On Saturday the 13th of July, I ran two robotics workshops at the STEMettes Future Summit. The event was sponsored by and took place at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London.
So here we are, Sunday, April 28th, 2019, the day of my third Girls Into Coding event! The last two events were great & I was very excited about this one.
