We kicked off the 2021 Girls Into Coding programme with our Virtual Girls Into Coding number 7 on 10th January & Virtual Girls Into Coding number 8 on 31st January.
December 13th, it was the last Girls Into Coding event of 2020! A special thank you to Angular London meetup for supporting us in our mission to get more girls into tech and for sponsoring the event!
Number 5! Last weekend we hosted our fifth Virtual Girls into coding event. This time around there were five different workshops (instead of the 4 previously) that the girls could choose from.
We’ve made it to our 4th virtual Girls Into Coding event! It consisted of 4 workshops: The Microbit robot, where we explored using motors and distance sensors with the microbit, which was led by myself (Avye).
We delivered our 3rd Virtual Girls Into coding last sunday via Zoom. The attendance was fantastic
Last month we had a great start to the virtual Girls Into Coding events.
We had a really good turn out and received some amazingly encouraging feedback from the girls & their parents.
My last face-to-face GIC event was in early March. Then COVID-19 struck. With the safety of our girls & the wider community in mind coupled with the lock down restrictions, it was no longer possible to hold physical, face-to-face events.
On Sunday the 1st of March we held Girls Into Coding #6 at the Microsoft Reactor. This was an exciting time as the previous event was so successful, so I could not wait to experience it all over again.
On January the 11th, it was the first Coderdojo back at Kingston University, and it was now 2020! To kick things off, I ran a Bitbot workshop.
2020 is almost here! I recap on an amazing 2019 and I have pieced together a video highlighting my key moments. Thank you, everybody, for your continued support in my mission!
